first band started, played, second band (mine) started played and so on and so on then it came to the end of the night. time for Mr. Monroe..... wait what's that I hear? Michael Monroe has left the building, huh?.. well it appears that Mr. Monroe was only there to show off his cool pants with the pretty blinky lights on them.
my apologies to anyone who might have went to the show last night expecting to see the great and powerful Michael Monroe. it was brought to my attention around midnight that he would only be singing a few songs with the Absolutes which is a cover band of Sean Mcnabbs(wasn't he in Quiet Riot for a bit?)at 12:30 AM.
we (Revl'on Red) were told when we signed on to the show that he would be performing or we wouldn't have done the show with only 2 days notice. when they told me he might be singing a few songs with this cover band that was still ok but then it seems he left and if he "comes" back in time he will sing. well if anyone else was there did he ever come back? I left at 12: 45
thanxxx Michael.

Wow, that sux. Well, did you get a chance to meet him at all? Dude, you got nothing to apologize for. You played the show. You won't be losing any fans over this one. That's all on him.

there was a few people there for us, which I guess was ok cuz we did zero promo since we only hooked up this show Tuesday night. We also have 2 shows we are promoting so this was like a free practice, and free is good!
I didn't meet Michael even though he was standing next to me when he decided that the band on stage at the time, which was one of those tough guy bands, wasn't worth sitting through and left. He didn't seem to be having much fun.
oh well life goes on.

Man, I really don't like him too much. He always seems like such a dick.

Damn, that sucks! Sorry to hear it bro.
Was there a decent crowd for your set? I think there was 4 bands playing when I was there, and things didn't really hot up till later.
